Saint Benedict Monastery
Chiangmai Diocese

October  14th 2010

To : His Excellency Monsignor Francis Xavier Vira Arpondratana, Bishop of Chiangmai Diocese

Excellency,
The life of our community needs the Presence of the Eucharist so that we could live all day long with Jesus Christ during the time of liturgy as well as personal prayers.
As you have known, our house has been recenlly repaired. We have managed a room like a small chapel for this purpose, waiting in future, a genuine respectable another one.
We insist his Excellency to allow us to expose there the Eucharist.
Thanking you in anticipation and with all our heart

For the Community

Dear rev. Simon Hoa Truong Huu Le osb
Referring to your letter dated on October 14, 2010, requesting the consent of Chiang Mai Diocese to have the Blessed Sacrament reserved in your chapel and to hold Eucharistic celebrations regularly, we considered your request and  give you the affirmative response.
According to the Code of Canon Law, art. 934.2 and 939, you may have to follow carefully for the chapel with the Blessed Sacrament reserved.
Assure you and all the members of a special remembrance in prayer.
Respectfully yours
Most Rev. Francis Xavier Vira Arpondratana
Bishop of Chiang Mai Diocese
